The Prince’s Prize 2026

Following the installation of HRH The Prince of Wales as an Honorary Freeman in November 2003, the Company established The Prince’s Prize for the best young instrumentalist or singer chosen from the Company’s award winners in the current year.
The Finals Concert to select the winner of The Prince’s Prize 2026 will take place at the Music Hall, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Silk Street, London EC2Y 8DT on Monday 13th April.  The concert will begin at 6.30 pm and the six Finalists will each present a twelve-minute programme.
The Finalists will be: Aidan Campbell bassoon, Aries Chow violin; Tohi Harada guitar; Maria Linares piano; Maia Roberts flute; and Sejin Yoon piano .
A panel of adjudicators will decide the winner, who will receive a prize of £10,000 and a Silver Medal.  The Mrs Prudi Hoggarth Audience Prize will be awarded to the performer voted for by the audience.
Please support these talented young performers, all of whom are Company Award-winners from 2025. Please bring as many guests as you would like. Members please book via the Members’ Area of the Company website; applicant members please email the Company office at assistant@wcom.org.uk to register your interest.
