The Company’s New Archive Website

The Company’s new archive website is now live at

The site has been created by Freeman David Herbert, who has photographed and catalogued all the Court Minute Books from 1772-1918, many of the Company’s treasured manuscript scores – including those by Elgar, Sullivan, German and Howells – and a number of other items of interest and importance from the Company’s past, including all the back copies of Preserve Harmony.

The website will continue to be enhanced over time as further Treasures are photographed. Any Company members or others interested in finding out more, or willing to assist the Company’s Archive project team in its exploration of our past, should please make contact through the archive website Contact Page.
