Biography
Born in Chesterfield in 1995, Bradley Johnson is a Classical Guitarist, currently studying on a Scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music with Professor Michael Lewin.
Upon commencing his Undergraduate studies with Craig Ogden at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2013, Bradley was soon awarded First Prize for the Ivor Mairants Guitar Award, which led to a performance at the International Guitar Research Conference (IGRC) at the University of Surrey the following year.
Bradley graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with 1st Class Honours in 2017. He began his Postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in 2017 and has recently been awarded First Prize in the inaugural Juan Grecos Guitar Concerto Competition in collaboration with Royal Classics Guitar Strings. From 2018; he is a Yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians and has represented the company throughout the country. Bradley’s studies are supported by the Blyth Watson Charitable Trust Award, the Charlotte Fraser Award and CHK Charities Limited.
