Biography

James Evans is a UK based freelance musician and composer, graduating from The Academy of Contemporary Music with a BMus (hons) degree in Professional Music Performance in 2019.

James has studied under many top UK musicians such as Dr. Thomas Williams (Hamilton), Georgio Serci (Jools Holland, Shirley Bassey, David Garret, BBC Concert Orchestra), Paul Geary (Nik Kerhsaw, George Michael, Mary J. Blige), Sandy Beales (Wheatus, One Direction, JP Cooper). He has worked with and studied under Brian Henry (Soul II Soul, Omar, Incognito). He has worked for many artists such as Joseph Lawrence & The Garden, Kaleem Taylor, Steve Jones (Brother Strut), Searls and Kyan. He was a member of the ACM House Band. He is also the current guitarist for Eight Ray Music’s JG Collective. James has also worked with Audient to promote their recent product releases and has performed and demonstrated at The UK Guitar Show.
