Biography

Nick is a professional cornettist from Bergen, Norway and principal cornet of Manger Musikklag. Originally from England, and former principal cornet of the Welsh Guards Band, London. Nick abandoned a career as an Architect to chase a dream of becoming a professional musician, first by joining the army and later studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Now operating as a professional cornet soloist, chamber and band musician. Working freelance in the Bergen area and beyond as a conductor and teacher, also including journalism and graphic design in a varied professional portfolio.
