Biography

Elizabeth Rajhans was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2003. She began studying the harp at the age of five alongside her twin sister, Catherine. After five years of study at the Shamo Music School in Kyiv with Yelizaveta Herasina, she continued her musical education at the Chopin Music School in Moscow under the guidance of Lena Watson. During this time, she participated in numerous international competitions, receiving nominations and prizes for her performances. She later returned to Kyiv and enrolled for A Level Distance Learning course through Junior Trinity, in London, United Kingdom.

Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Performance with First Class Honours and is currently in her first year of postgraduate study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studies with Gabriella Dall’Olio, Head of Harp, and Frances Kelly, Professor of Early Harp. She had had taken part in Masterclasses with Isabelle Perrin, Sylvain Blassel, Fabrice Pierre, Isabelle Moretti, and Sivan Magen, and participated in summer courses in Britain (British Isles Music Festival) and France (Académie musicale de Gargilesse Pierre Jamet), taking part in public concerts. Throughout her studies, she has performed extensively in London and Hastings, including in a number of concerts to raise funds for Ukraine.

Performance highlights include appearances at the UK Foreign Office during the 2022 Human Rights Conference, at London Fashion Week in 2023, and at the Queen’s House in London. Elizabeth received the Richard Harrison Trust Scholarship in 2022 and 2023 and was awarded the John Marson Harp Prize for an Outstanding Musician in 2024.

Elizabeth won first prize in the Trinity Laban Soloists’ Competition 2026.
