Biography

Juliet Beadle is a flautist from East Sussex and is currently studying a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music, aided by the Edward and Helen Hague Award, studying under Gitte Marcusson and Sue Thomas. She recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, receiving a First Class Honours degree, supported by the Michael Hirst Award. During her Undergraduate degree, Juliet received the Silver Medal Award 2025, was a finalist in the Soloist Competition 2025 and won the Harold Clarke Woodwind Competition in 2024.

Juliet is an active orchestral musician and has recently played principal positions with the London City Orchestra, London Arab Orchestra, Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra and Universities of London Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys a myriad of chamber music and regularly plays with the Verdier Trio and ensemble of soprano, flute/recorder and piano, delving into her interests in the connection of singing and the flute. Another area of interest for Juliet is historical and folk music and she explores this through her band, The Beadling, who have performed at major festivals such as Sidmouth Folk Festival and Lost in the Hills Festival.
