Biography

Ross Krige has been drumming since the age of 12, he picked it up relatively quickly as within the first 6 moths he was playing in his first musical Bugsy Malone. He instantly fell in love with the idea of playing music live for an audience. He joined multiple bands to gain experience in different aspects of his playing.

At the London College of Music, Ross studied under Charlie Maguire (Michael Ball, Gregory Porter and Jocelyn Brown) and Matt Skelton (John Wilson Orchestra, BBC Big Band and the London Symphony Orchestra) as drum tutors as well as playing in a big band run by Pete Cook (Imelda May and Mike Sanchez) while at LCM Ross excelled at networking so much so it led him to be able to start his own music booking agency booking for weddings, events and venues. As of June 2023 there are 22 bands / acts on his roster.

Ross is also a very experienced sound engineer for live and recorded music, starting working in studios from the age of 15 he quickly felt at home as well as allowing him to meet other engineers, from this Ross started working as a live sound engineer to earn some extra pocket money but ended up picking up some extremely valuable skills for the future!

Recently Ross has moved back up to the north west to build and open a brand new recording studio and 400 seat theatre based near Liverpool he is still working on his booking agency to expand it in the north west! He regularly gigs covering a variety of different genres anything from jazz to drum and bass.
