Biography

Vishal Chopra is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Penang, Malaysia. Starting out as a vocalist and electric guitarist, he then taught himself how to play the bass, drums, keys, and a variety of other instruments. At the age of 17, he represented Malaysia in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California and returned as a multi-medalist and Champion of the World in the instrumental category. Currently the guitarist of the alternative math rock band ‘Math Class,’ he also plays guitar, bass, and drums for a variety of artists in the UK for live shows and recording sessions with genres ranging from RnB and Hip Hop to modern pop and metal. He was also recently featured in the Rolling Stone UK for his work as a songwriter and musician on the track ‘I LUV MY LIFE,’ which was a collaborative effort between artists under ESEA music. As a recent nominee of the Musicians Company Silver Medal award, Vishal hopes to carve himself a future in London as a session musician, producer, performer, and artist.
